Great news everyone, Lisa’s 6th album, Hallelujah, is now available globally on iTunes. This has been a mammoth task as Lisa has been extremenly busy but we finally got there.
The idea behind this album was to take some tunes that are familiar, and find new ways of doing them. Essentially the album has two “sides”. The “A side” is just that – new versions of songs you might have heard before like the crazy version of “I Got Rhythm” which was actually recorded by Bing Crosby in the 70’s! Or a big band version of a Kylie Minogue hit from the 80’s. Or a medley of the haunting “Hallelujah” and the inspirational “If I can Dream” that Elvis sang in his big 1968 comeback concert. The “B side” is acoustic. These 6 acoustic tracks include 4 originals. Their stories and background are great reading. Thanks must go to the amazing ears of Dave Hallard at FIGJAM Studios, the fabulous eyes of Kerri Lacey and the photographic talents of Don at MAMM.
